Before Ebola the government hospital in Kono was known of its poor condition and people even avoided using it. When the epidemic hit the city, the situation in the hospital was about to spiral out of control. With the help of international aid the hospital went through a complete reformation and nowadays it's one of the best, if not even the best, hospital in the whole Sierra Leone. The picture is from the hospital's pediatric ward where children suffering from malnourishment are treated. Massah came to the hospital to get help for her daughter Christiana.
