SAARA MANSIKKAMÄKI (b.1987) is a forest raised Finnish documentary photographer, currently based in Helsinki. She holds BA from Lahti Institute of Design and was selected to participate in VII Masterclass in 2016.
She also holds a certificate of oil spill response training and knows how to work on a potato harvester. However, she has no talent on spotting landmines, though she has been briefly trained on that as well. Ask her to send CV and she will send you meadow seeds.
Human behavior, especially people's fears and preconceptions towards each other interests Saara a lot. In-depth and long term projects are where she feels the most home, but she’s open for a whole variety of assignments, as long as they align with her values and are paid justly.
